African music played on an instrument called a Mandinka Kora, from Gambia. Made from a Gourd or giant pumpkin and a long stick. Strung like a harp and played like a guitar/harp.

I have never actually met Tata, I worked on this project over a four year period. Chaim Rubinstein recorded Tata and his Kora in Gambia, back in London we worked together and all the instrumentation and drums were added around his vocals and Kora, using an array of local musicians. It was a labor of love. Also check out the remix we did at Mute studios in London
